Disconnecting Zoom revokes BoardSite’s organization-level Zoom authorization and removes the saved connection. Existing BoardSite meeting content is retained.
Before you begin: You need the Manage integrations permission. Confirm the active BoardSite organization because the action affects everyone using that organization’s Zoom connection.
Disconnect Zoom in BoardSite #
- Open Organization → Integrations.
- Find the Zoom card, which should show Connected.
- Select Disconnect.
- When BoardSite asks Disconnect Zoom for this organization?, review the warning and confirm.
- Wait for BoardSite to report that Zoom was disconnected.
- Confirm that the Zoom card now shows Connect Zoom.
What disconnecting changes #
- BoardSite asks Zoom to revoke the organization’s stored authorization.
- BoardSite removes its saved Zoom OAuth connection for the organization.
- Users can no longer create or synchronize Zoom meetings through that connection.
- Existing BoardSite meeting content is retained.
Existing Zoom meetings: Disconnecting the integration does not promise to delete meetings from Zoom. Review the Zoom account separately if Zoom meetings must be canceled or removed.
Remove BoardSite from Zoom Marketplace #
If your organization also wants to remove the BoardSite app from its Zoom account, an authorized Zoom administrator should use Zoom App Marketplace’s installed-app management after disconnecting in BoardSite. Zoom’s administration labels can change; follow Zoom’s current marketplace instructions.
Reconnect later #
Return to Organization → Integrations and select Connect Zoom. Complete Zoom authorization with the account that should own future BoardSite-created Zoom meetings.
Troubleshooting #
- If Disconnect is missing, verify that Zoom shows Connected and that you have integration-management permission.
- If Zoom rejects token revocation, BoardSite reports that the connection could not be disconnected. Try again or contact BoardSite support.
- If automatic Zoom options still appear immediately after disconnecting, refresh the meeting form.
